As the premier and most renowned Italian event in Victoria, the Melbourne Italian Festa 2024 receives generous backing from the State Government through the Multicultural Affairs - Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, and the City of Melbourne.

Traditionally held in Argyle Square, the Festa took an exciting turn last year by moving to the Royal Exhibition Building and the Museum Plaza.
Esteemed Italian organisations, including the Italian Consulate of Victoria and Tasmania, theItalian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, COMITES, Carlton Inc., and the Italian Institute of Culture, play active roles in this celebration.
This year, the Festa will gain new significance with support from various companies and associations, including the renowned children's music show Zecchino d'Oro and the direct involvement of the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs with the Turismo delle Radici project by ITALEA
Leading the project is again CO.AS.IT. Italian Assistance Association Melbourne, which has committed to a four-year plan aimed at engaging a broader and more diverse audience in alignment with their revitalised vision.
